Market Season is back!?!

Market Season is back!?!

How did that even happen?!  It’s like hey, Merry Christmas, see you next year, and now, here we are, a few days away from market season!  I’ve got a PACKED March too! I can’t wait to see everyone.

For those who are not on social media:

Some of you may have noticed that Gypsy Castaway feels a little different lately. Seasons change, and sometimes they change us with them.

This Christmas, instead of unwrapping gifts beneath a glowing tree, I found myself unwrapping a lesson in surrender … a broken arm that forced stillness where there had once been constant motion. January 8th brought surgery putting the bones back together while I quietly began the work of putting myself back together too.

When one path became impossible, I chose not to let the dream go, only to let it evolve.

In this unexpected pause, something new began to shimmer into being. Suncatchers. Small prisms of light. Symbols of joy, resilience, and the gentle art of turning sunlight into scattered rainbows. They remind us that even fractured light can become something beautiful.

So in a season I wouldn’t have chosen, I am choosing to create brightness anyway. To gather light. To let it dance.

And I hope these new creations bring a little radiance into your space, just as creating them has brought it into mine.

I made a post about what the off season has looked like for me.  It’s been a wild ride.  I’m roughly 8 weeks out of surgery and my arm movement is coming back, but it’s still a slow process learning how to do everything all over again.  Jewelry is NOT GONE! It’s just on hold, and that’s okay.

Gypsy Castaway just turned 9!  I remember when I was naming my baby, I didn’t want to be officially Gypsy Castaway Jewelry because I didn’t want to get “stuck” limiting my creativity to one department.  The “castaway” was an intentional pun on my ankle cast- away.

So here we are entering year 9, chapter 2.0 Here Comes the Suncatchers.

Because we all know, I’m solar powered and better in the sunshine.  I look forward to sharing my stories with ya’ll, sharing why suncatchers are “oversized” pendants and growing and expanding.

I say it all the time because I mean it.

I LOVE YOU!  Thank you for stopping by, reading, and showing your unwavering support.  Yall are the real rockstars!

Sea you soon!

Xo- Rebekah
